The 2017 winter has been the worst of my career so far. No new snow, warm, rain to the top, we've had under 10 days all season that I would class as epic.
One of those 10 days though was with Simon "Holzi" Holzknecht.
We decided to get out of the resort and go split boarding. We started pretty early, took the lift to the top and set off. Soon we left the noise of the lifts and tourists behind us and settled into our 3 hour hike.
